1) The view is AMAZING! Esp if you sit right it the front of the houseboat.. 2) The houseboat was exactly like the pictures shown on the website. 3) It was very clean and well maintained 4) The 4 bedroom houseboat that we took was spacious 5) The staff are friendly and helpful. They gave us good suggestions and advice on the places to visit and travel options. But they promised us tender coconut (which is AMAZING in kerala) but we didn't get it in the end :(
Cons: 1) The food was only average... Could have been because I am vegetarian and hence the options are limited...kerala is known for its seafood after all. But still I would have liked to try more local cuisine. 2) The room can get QUITE cold at night. I had to switch the aircon off and on a few times during the night, and its a little annoying since there is no remote and I had to get up to do it manually... 3) Be prepared to shower in freezing cold water. This is not actually aquamelody's fault though. Most if not all houseboats come without water heaters (at least that is what I was told)

Even though my homeland is in kerala itself, it was my first ever experience in an houseboat. I was in my vacation and when my friends decided to have a reunion i suggested to get reunion in a houseboat. When i searched the internet i got many houseboat provider but i got best deal from Global Vision Tours, who were offering this Aqua Melody Houseboat. We enjoyed the stay very much as the food and the service was really great. We were offered cruise ride through the lake and alongside the village, and the scenery was awesome. To make the reunion more exited we had toddy also in houseboat which energized our ambiance.
Room Tip: I would suggest to take Full time AC option as there will be flies and mosquitoes outside houseboat...
